# Simplify switching between English and Japanese input using the Windows keyboard

日本語版: 日本語で読む

Recently, I often make mistakes when inputting English and Japanese.

I tried to think about the cause, but I feel like the problem is that I don’t know which input mode I’m currently using.

So we made it possible to switch explicitly.

  1. Right-click on “A” (possibly “A”) to open IME options
  2. setting
  3. Key and touchless customization
  4. Turn on key assignments
  5. 無変換 key IME-off
  6. 変換キー IME-on

If you set it like this,

Press the 無変換 key to input Japanese.

It is now possible to explicitly change the English input by pressing the 変換 key.

I feel like this is the default setting for Macs, as expected from Macs.
